Position Overview
We are seeking hardworking and dependable Laborers to support our landscaping and hardscaping crews. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to enter the trade or gain more experience. You will assist skilled technicians in various tasks related to landscape installation, maintenance, and hardscape construction. While experience is a plus, it’s not necessary – we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn above all else.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Crew Leaders and technicians with daily tasks on job sites.
- Perform manual labor including digging, planting, raking, mulching, and moving materials (soil, stone, pavers, etc.).
- Help with site preparation and clean-up.
- Operate basic hand tools safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Follow instructions carefully and adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
Qualifications
- Work Ethic: Must possess a strong work ethic and be committed to performing tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
- Dependability: Punctual and reliable with dependable transportation to our shop or designated job sites in the Douglass Hills area.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects.
- Attitude: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, take direction, and work well within a team.
- Experience: Previous landscaping, hardscaping, or general labor experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
